If I create a subfolder of 5 bytes '11026' then attempt to create a subfolder of 3 bytes '170' I get a D03 error. If I start with 4 byte subfolder then create a 3 byte subfolder it works. If I start with a 3 byte subfolder and then attempt a 3 byte folder it works. If I start with a 1 byte and then attempt a 3 byte it works. It appears as if the size of the preceeding subfolder somehow effects the ability to create a smaller - not a larger - subfile. More intriguing is that the smaller subfile but be more then 1 byte smaller. If I didn't see this happening I wouldn't believe it was possible.
Is there another IB command to create windows subfolders?
