I've made posts in the past that described archiving G/L month-end files before actually closing the accounting period by defining/creating sub-directories. EX: J:\comet\GL\2010-01, 2010-02, 2010-03, ... etc. Over time you get a ton of dir's. It's the land of terra. No storage limitations. Have developed Comet's ACCESS statement along with mouse over selection logic to choose which period to review/report. Did I not post source to accomplish this?? Want it?? Any period, any time! A snap-shot.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
