I know I'm a late-comer to Windows 7 but I did finally make it. Today I discovered a very cool tool that's part of it. It's called the Problem Step Recorder. It automatically takes screen shots of a user's actions while running programs. I can see how this would be very handy when trying to reproduce problems. How many times have you asked your customer, "Exactly what did you do to get this to happen?" :-)
To give you an idea of what it can do, I used it not to reproduce a problem but to show you how to run our new Comet Workstation Install program. The install program is just a self-extracting zip file which you all know how to do, but it is a good excuse to show you PSR.exe also.
In Download\Mailboxes is a zip file that's produced by PSR.exe. You may need to increase the zoom on your browser to see the screen shots clearly. At the top left of the screen you can see PSR's window. You can start/stop/pause the recording and add comments at any step if you wish.
