Just updated my office system to the latest Comet releases of everything on all Windows platforms. Use Comet security system so I have to enter a password before I get to the READY:: prompt. In the past with Comet32, I would enter my password to get to READY::. Enter Q and then just press enter. Re-enter password again?? Latest release seems to have solved this. Remember Q-land? Run Z?? Well with my security scheme, (an USE file), it does a CLOSE (0) & OPEN (0) TERM$. Get's hung up on the OPEN. Did you know that you can CLOSE (0) and OPEN (0) "Whatever"? Great for assuming other vendor programs won't do this. When your done just do OPEN (0) TERM$. For years!! Also discovered INSERT key doesn't work and discovered the data input (SF) shows in a different color not of my choice. I know Comet32 will replace Comet16. All future super enhancements will be towards Comet32 and not Comet16. I understand. But when will Comet32 match Comet16/504 functionality? Can not suggest Comet32 with clients at this time. I would get creamed if I tried!!
