It turns out this problem was related to Marc having a TMP folder configured with a different path than $(CATEMP). I'm not sure exactly why this made a difference but we know this has caused confusion in other areas. Remember, Comet will add $(CATEMP) to your configuration automatically if it's not there and you have a free dab.
