There's a front end IB program (WDL) with drop down lists, date range, etc that puts the selected data into a work file. A CSV copy is made and then launched. Usually, the work file is sufficient for Excel. However, this manager needs to have the work file condensed into one line per employee, per day for a selected Job. The Reporter can do this but the print and CSV output falls a little short of optimum.
1) The condensed file from the Reporter is fine except for the extra data line caused by the BREAK. Only one on this report, but I don't think BREAK lines should go into the CSV at all.
2) The "H" option should use the Field Title, if there is one, instead of the Field Name. Lots of junky stuff in the old #FILES and it's going to come forward into #CFILES :( I'd rather see "Emp Hire Date" as the CSV column title than "EHDT".
Since you mentioned LINES 0, is there a way to eliminate the double spacing on the printed version?
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
