A few weeks ago I posted a question pertaining to QERRLOG entries I found at an end-user where we are implementing an XAP/Ajax server. I received a copy of the source, webserve.ibs, but am still a little confused as to what is happening. Perhaps a little more background is in order. The XAP applications are not servering web pages, they're serving data in an Ajax/XML process. A third-party has setup a website for my end-user and is currently using Ajax to query our XAP site for stock status. They send us an item number and we return an XML file of stock status info. The website will present the results and the customer will eventually input an order, again using Ajax. We will process the order and return the order # in a small XML response. In the end-user's XAP directory there is currently no WEBSERVE object program. QERRLOG shows error 61's out of my two XAP/Ajax programs trying to run WEBSERVE. The two XAP/Ajax programs have no reference to WEBSERVE in them, so it must be a behind-the-scenes process. If I establish WEBSERVE in the directory I will get rid of the error 61's in QERRLOG, but will I be generating results I don't wish to generate? I have the source, I guess the answer is for me to modify the source as I please?
