What I've read tonight wakes me up. Agree I'm looking at the BIG guys but BIG guys investment drives where we're going. It involves the cloud and outside storage. HP and Dell are competing for this. Do a search on 3Par and you'll be brought up to date. Smaller companies and individuals can get away with 2 tera easily with their videos and stuff. Have two clients that involve Pittsburgh event parking at the Pro/College sports and industrial security level. How to store all those video's, audio's, accounting stuff, email and them some!! This is at a major municipal level. How to Cometize this is my problem. I'm thinking QDIR out loud considering the ADD option and using Windows associations. Maybe another system option/utility for help. Ever consider the communication links at today's level using Comet? And the world is going Mobile! Larger companies are looking for cheaper storage and they're being sloppy about it. Store everything. Instead of purchasing local hardware and managing take it to the CLOUD and the BAD guys are exploring. Trust the BIG guys networks?? I don't think so!! That's the BIG guys problem and they will solve it! That's where 3Par is kicking ___! Now for the smaller crowd! Us. I'm thinking.
