Hi Greg. I'm not really sure what part of this posting was a question for Signature. As far a using a proxy goes, we do simple TCP/IP (however, you can choose your own port) and that's it. CometAnywhere is already using a form of compression that works well for the kind of traffic we normally generate - specifically Alpha-Numeric QCRT. If your using Windows-style Comet programs then we should discuss the specifics of your performance problems. Maybe we can find an acceptable solution.
