The documentation for the control states that: DTN_DATETIMECHANGE - Notifies the parent that a change has occurred in the control. This unfortunately means they can send notifications for just about anything! This is unusual for MS - they're usually more concise about these things. Although I did not address this issue in the Dlg11 sample, it should be easy to fix in your program. You'll just need to keep track of the last new date you got from the picker and load your list control only when the date changes.
