Boy this is different!! Young crowd I suspect. Different vocab being used. So you're defining a DUMMY Comet dir as being non-configured, which is correct. So it's just like my DUMMY READ? Been there!! Via ACCESS statement. Any non-configured Comet directory can be created using the ACCESS statement. Create/erase/etc can be performed. So what? Any open/read/write, what??. I used it as an archive/backup solution. Maybe you're using it more in real-time by being dynamic. I suspect being mobile.
