1) Vaguely remember the ARCHIVE option from the last big revamp of DocMgr. There was something about it I didn't like.
If I have 1500 documents in SP1 and I want to PDFize them into LAA, I just print them to LAA. Voila 1500 PDF's. Test today at my customer's went well. Print rate was about 300+/minute. Most of the QSPOOL info about the original spooler file gets passed in the PDF name. Excellent :)
2)Robert asked for a change from Jim so he could implement DocMgr without having to recompile his programs that had hard coded spooler names. Jim's mod involved changing the Spooler defintion in the INI to use something like "($LAA)" that would cause the redirection.
Need the same thing for my customer. Jim's post seemed to indicate this was a Comet32 feature. True?
