Thinking out loud. Tradition has been file extensions are 3 characters long. I know that's changing. Using more than 3. BUT! So are Comet DIR's 3. I have a dir called BMP. Guess what it's used for? IPG, LBR, DAT, DBF, FRM, MDB, ODB, SQL, DOC. If you want to centralize Comet maybe consider a tool to organize the OTHER guys. With dealership help of course. The dir could be LOCAL (your system) or GLOBAL (meaning a Comet/SIG qdir CLOUD). So at next Sig meeting consider a SYSGEN configurable GLOBAL dir that's managed by Sig and accessible by ALL licensed/current users/dealers.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
