Always thought that was a military style date. But, Oracle takes credit for everything now :)

I'd do it like so ...

DATE2NUM
NUM2DATE - option 5

getting ...

Day, DD Mon YYYY HH:MM:SS -nnnn -mmmm

Then SUB and concatenate to get DD-MON-YY or "DDMONYY"

Is this a date variation that could/Sshould be added to NUM2DATE and DATE2NUM?
