cosp.exe /debug helped detect the problem when it told me it couldn't find the file.

On my Vista machine I had been "manually" changing the registry file for pdfFactory for another application and that is most likely why the output file couldn't be found and moved.

I uninstalled pdfFactory and reinstalled and my problem was solved.

Sure nice to have someone to point you in the correct direction.
