I guess programming have been syncing files since the second computer was built. At the user site, when #FILESC exists and #FILESO does not,
Back in the day I wanted to sync my #FILES with the dictionary on my customers' machines. I wrote a toy called FileChg.
In the source comments I wrote:
Creates a files of changes to #FILES.
At the developer's site (when #FILESO exists), a file of changes
called #FILESC is written.
#FILES is updated with the data in #FILESC. #FILESC is then
erased
I posted it today.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
