The problem with running is the additional stress that it puts on the plastic disk that separates the two stainless steel caps on the ends of the leg bones. This has an average life expectancy of only 15 years, which can be greatly reduced by putting unnecessary strain on that plastic bit. Life is too hurried these days, why run when you can walk : talk time to smell the flowers.
On the subject of cars, my 1968 MGB has one of those fancy interfaces, its called a Digitally Reduced Integrated Vehicular Equipment Responder or DRIVER for short, I just refer to it as ME.
