Yes, that's what it did. Once you reached 4GB you crash & burn.

A client of mine has a log files that fills 4GB about every 3 months, I had to add a little something to my code to "archive" the file once it hits the 3.9GB range.

I really hit the panic button 2 year ago when I estimated that one of my clients customer master was 18 months away from a 4GB Crash & Burn. Thanks but no thanks to the slow down of the economy this hasn't happen yet. Gave me time to convert to Extended Key file.

Thank goodness for Subscription Service that kept my client systems up to rev.
