If you are in comet16 you may compile for comet16 by using the ultra edit tool. You may also compile for comet32 by executing cosm32 from windows.

If you are in comet32, You may only compile for comet32. UE will automatically invoke cosm32.

The Comet16 compiler is intimately connected to Comet16. If Comet32 is running, we cannot run Comet16 in order to compile. This is painful for me too.
