XAPMon is a program that just kicks-off the xap gateway. The gateway
will still function correctly if xapmon has stopped running.

If a program ENTERS xapmon instead of RUNing it, xapmon will just exit
when it has finished.

It does not matter how many times xapmon is run or entered. Once xap has
started, it will continue to run.

I hope this has helped.

Jim

------- Forwarded message follows -------

I have XAP starting thru QSTARTX but I would like it to run only if it
has not already been loaded. How can I determine if XAP has been
loaded? It appears that XAPMON is returning an error 34 but, of
course, I don't have the source for XAPMON.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Carl
