This is the rule: RUNSTATE can tell you if the current program was entered. If someone RUNs your menu RUNSTATE will not be 6. If you want to always reset ENTERLEVEL back to 0 in your menu you can try EXITALL. This is similar to POPALL for the GOSUB stack. In a perfect world I guess your app would never let them RUN the menu from an ENTERed program because every program would test RUNSTATE before doing a RUN and then you would properly EXIT out of your ENTERed programs back to the menu.
