windows 7 problem

We have a customer running win 7 32 bit. I installed comet a month ago and everything worked. Now today when they launch comet they get this windows error:
Cannot load COSW.EXE -- Launch command is:
C:\users\kerry\AppData\Temp\cosw.exe /PN=NODE_18 /nsp
The Error is Invalid procedure or argument.

I'm not sure where the /nsp swich is coming from it does not appear in the shortcut. Comet version is 419.
