I've used 1200 -> 38700 baud. 1-mbit to 100. 10g and 100g. And it's going larger. Cloud/Internet question? I use COMCAST and have file transfer rates around 2700 kbs. My clients have purchased/contracted TOP vendor solutions with "ONE COMMUNICATIONS" and transfer rates are BROADBAND 150 kbs. My troubles with COMCAST is that I cannot Comet Anywhere with it. It worked when I contracted a T1 line with local company PULSENET at 15 times the cost. Do a WHOIS on "customsoftwaresolutions.us". I'm there!! But can't access it via COMCAST. So SPEED vs COST and CONNECTION are the issues when multi- vendors are involved with Comet.
