I too encountered this kind of problem when adding paths to XAP source code. But I must admit that I use the delete-to-end-of-line on a regular basis.
We need to find a new key sequence that would NEVER interfere with the actual text. We all know that CED was originally written on a platform that didn't know about the rest of the world.
Any suggestion? I'd love to use an intuitive key combination, but I am not sure what I have left from the Windows Ctrl-Keys - I'll have to re-test them all. The Shift-Highlight is dearly missing in Comet.
