A number of people have contacted me recently to check if we survived the floods. Obviously I have as I am writing this, where I live is pretty safe from all but Armageddon, however on syaing that Queensland has the biggest cycclone ever seen in Australia crossing the coast as I write this. Luckily , I do not live in Queensland, being an ardent republican.
The premier of Queensland explained the size of the area devastated by floods to be the size of Germany & France, this equates to the states of Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Utah, Navada, Arizona, Hawaii ( just to make Jim feel at home) & for good measure New York, not wishing to exclude the Eastern states.
As well as this a significant proportion of Victoria is suffereing from one in 200 year floods.
Some say we are a godless country, some say its climate change, all I know is it started with Oprah visiting the country.
