Hi Grant. Is Comet set to start automatically (Startup folder) or is the user starting it from a shortcut? If it's automatic you may have another application that is stealing the focus as it starts. If it's being started from a shortcut then we have a genuine mystery. You can try an earlier version of COSW if you think upgrading Comet was the source of the problem, however no changes have been made to COSW that would cause it to willingly give up the focus.
