have had continuing problems compiling since Friday AM with phantom errors (compiler indicates Errors = 00001, but nothing flagged.
Today (Monday 2011-02-07) I'm dead in the water.
to attempt to diagnose problem, I put together a short program which uses only COMET variables ($TERM and $DATE) and attempted to print the date on the screen(0):
hello.ibs
compiled with MTB and got nothing useful in the compile... the listing is corrupted with unprintable characters etc....
1) is the only solution to reload MTB?
2) how do I get MTB compatable with Comet2008 Build 391? I can't load anything later since 2008/391 is my production system.
checked the dates in /REL.... nothing after 2008 except for a keyed file from 2010 called ~C564583/.I00... but nothing with a date after that.
Any help would be appreciated, since I cannot proceed to do any useful work.
Thanx (to one and all)
Bob "A"
P.S. warning again about the unprintable characters in CMPLIST.of.hello.ibs.txt
