A partition has more than one controlling terminal

In Comet version .431 we changed the location of the CATEMP folder from using "all users" to using "%USERPROFILE%". This is causing a problem for some Comet16 users with long user names because of its limitation on the length of the path. This problem will be corrected in .432. In the meantime you can solve this problem by manually changing the location of the CATEMP folder by editing the CosW.ini file. Simply choose a shorter path, like C:\COMET\CATEMP. Just make sure the user will have write access to it.

The symptom of the problem is a Comet startup message saying "A partition has more than one controlling terminal".
