I have been busy since Saturday looking at your problem with the Comet Winsock gateway. It was obvious from the start that the sts() function was not correct. Once I understood what it was supposed to do, I finally finished coding it correctly today (I hope!!??).
The underlying difference is that Comet16 used winsock 1.1 and comet32 uses winsock 2. I can't say that it completely done, because I only got the "is Connected" and "has Data" flag bytes correct as well as the last io count. But I think your program should work now.
You guys should keep in mind that Comet32 is a complete rewrite. Please continue to let us know about any differences you see. We will continue to correct those.
I hope to get the changes I made in build 432 which, as Grant said, should be a doozie!
