Ran into something like this. I was copying PDF's to an archive via DOS commands to see if it was faster than CopyFile. I had from and to file handles and ran out of handles. Had to do proper DOS closes to release the handles for the next copy.

DOS vs CopyFile was about the same. The speed of pdfFactory at (about 40 ppm) was the limiting factor
