Thanks for the reply, Grant. I'll take a look at the link. But my thinking was this - the File/Print Setup dialog has a routine for modifying COSW.INI If that routine were available via my IB program I could set the preferred printer in COSW.INI before sending out the print job. Perhaps I could even retrieve the current setting, set the printer I want & then set it back after the print job has finished. Now, I understand that the dialog is also making a connection to the Windoze Printers folder to show the available printers. I could get around that easily enough because there's just the three and I can enforce a naming convention. In my setup I anticipate a lot of bolt tags coming out on the sticky labels & vice versa.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
