(Shell Execute Wait)

We gave up on DOS some time ago, so I'm trying to sever the last link to the good-old SHELL to DOS.

When I tried the relatively new (Shell Execute Wait) mnemonic, I found some inconsistency in its behaviour and the IB documentation.

When I launch my Windows app, my IB program does NOT wait. Execution of my IB program will continue until the next INPUT statement. Upon completion of the Windows app, the INPUT receives a Force Transmit or something.

In my code I create a name list, then the (ShellExecuteWait) perform an address correction/validation and upon completion, I display a summary page on the Comet Screen and wait for user TAB TO EXIT. What I get is the Shell execute to launch my app, I get my summary page on Comet and upon completion of the Windows App, my programs terminates normaly as if it did receive the TAB (to Exit).

I ran the same script from the DOS windows with the START/WAIT command and it worked properly.

I tested this on Comet 2002 Build 320 with Rel-03.08... Documentation claims this mnemonic is available since Rel-20.08 (no comet vsn)
