I deleted the folder and created it using remote desktop. It will allow me to create the Qdir but not rebuild it. Also, if I try to run CometEX from CA and then try to create the Qdir it flips me to my system instead of the remote system. It won't let me build a Qdir from the CA client. Is that the way it is designed?
