I was trying to find a bad record in a large file that was causing an error 46. I couldn't find it using CA which was running under Comet 32 but the customer running on an XP machine was able to get the error. So, attached is a little test for you. If you run the program under Comet 16 the error 46 pops out and you can see the problem. However, run in under Comet 32 and it skips the error 46 and goes to the end of the file. Also, you will note that the program hard errors at the end of the program because it cannot find/run '*monitor'. All new "fix" programs that I write use 'qmonitor' but I copied this from an old program and didn't change it. Just something to look at.
