Comet Explorer DELETES WRONG FILE

I tried using Comet Explorer to clean up a work folder (COS) where temporary files are written and the deleted (on the Windoze side only).

The Qtil DIR option took forever to show me that I had 243 files in there...

Comet Explorer took just as long to tell me that I had screen-full upon screen-full of . When I looked up & down I saw that the only "real" file in there was #QSPOOL. So I tried sorting by size to see if I had somehow missed the other "Real Files". The sort showed tons of on top and the #QSPOOL near the bottom. It was followed by six (6) . So I tried to delete them (start the clean up).

The delete removed my #QSPOOL which was not highlighted then tried to delete a second time and gave me an error.

Oops I lost my #QSPOOL...

Now I don't trust Comet Explorer to complete my clean up... I might destroy something valuable.

Qtil's FILENT says I have 452,797 files in there.
Windows Explorer says I have 237
Comet Explorer won't say (When I highlight more than one file, it still says '1 file selected'...

Comet Explorer version is 1.3 (in About...)
Comet is 2008.398
Rel is 09.00
Utl is 09.00

My guess is that I should Restore #QSPOOL from Backup, then kill my XAP and rebuild this directory...

Arrrgggg !
