1) if there are a lots of gaps, you could move all of SP1 to SP2 and the sequence numbers would rebuild from 00000001. Clear SP1 and maybe move the more recent files back.

2) Set up a DocMgr archive printer, I use LAA for PDF's, and print from QSPOOL to LAA. Comet Woman put in changes to QSPOOL so that the Job name in DocMgr contains the original program name and QSPOOL Date/Time stamp. Originally I didn't care for the TXT in DocMgr but Comet Woman has put in additional changes that make a TXT archive near match to a QSPOOL archive.
