We are running into an issue at an end-user who runs our Document-Imaging system. The program prints a hard-copy of their form and then does an imaging pass which prints to a PDF printer followed by a (Document = ...) to place a copy on our imaging server. The user is running the latest Comet2010 on a Win 7 machine. That machine had a security update and a Windows Defender update last Friday and a Windows Defender update yesterday. Additionally it appears as though myriad other Windows updates went through on that machine last week. In any case, the problem is that the (Document =... ) mnemonic was failing. We have an entry in our MySQL database but no PDF. We connected up to the machine today and saw that he was not imaging. We then ran Comet as Administrator. I put a COSP /debug icon on the desktop and ran another form, this time it did image properly. Our tech guy is running Win 7 and says that his CometLib.dll is in appdata/local/temp folder. Is it possible that the Win 7 update is deleting files out of the temp folder, and that our Run as Administrator put CometLib back? They are a current subscriber.
