Re prevous post on 3/23/04, Am using XP Pro, Latest Comet versions of all Comet folders, but would like to clean up some older programs so want to use Uedit's compiler option in order to get eliminate unused variables.

Programs compile OK using option 27 of Comet Utility, provided the computer has just been rebooted after attempting to use Uedits compiling.

Uedit compiling get message "99/05 ERROR--ACCESS DENIED- INVALID PARAMATER...ETC". After getting that message source will not compile using option 27 of Comet Utility, but get same message.

Have erased MTB51Pnn file using Comet Erase, which it puts in the source directory when each time compiling fails. After a Uedit compiling failure, only way to compile is to reboot and use Option 27 of Comet Utility. Each attempt to compile through Uedit also puts CAPInnnn.LST files in the source directory. These also have been erased through the Comet Utilities, but still have same error.

Any ideas? I give up.

Attached is source and use files used.
