CopyFile woes...>

I'll start off by saying that I do understand that it's on me to keep my end-user Certificates installed and up-to-date. That being said, I need to blow off some steam on CopyFile. Don't get me wrong, I love CopyFile - it's the basis for our Document-Imaging system, for example. My issue is with the fact that it can stop working and be invisible in doing so - everything goes on as normal only you don't wind up with your file where it's supposed to be. The two latest examples:
1) Innovations has offices in NY and a warehouse in NJ. They use FedEx to ship, Ship Manager exporting tracking numbers at end-of-day. They then run a program to transfer the file to NYC and then post the tracking numbers to the orders. Tracking numbers stopped coming through. The program worked as normal, did all the error checking it's supposed to, transfer reported as successful. Yet no tracking numbers. CopyFile had stopped working on the CometAnywhere Host. At wits' end I unloaded the CA Host & restarted it and everything started working normally again. Yikes!
2) This weekend I was working on a Doc Manager archive for Maxwell Fabrics. Nothing was archiving as it should. Checked my INI file, everything looked good. The accountant's archive of Month-End reports was OK, all reports showing a date of Monday July 4th. I opened CosC details and saw that CometLib failed to load so I checked their license. Sure enough they had a Temp Certificate and I had neglected to install the permanent one. But the temp license date was July 5th! This means Maxwell was running Wednesday thru Friday with an expired certificate, and they were running. The CometLib dutifully stopped working and my Doc Manager runs as well as any other CopyFile went through as normal but actually did nothing.

Is it possible to have CopyFile alert with a MessageBox, something along the lines of "Caution - CopyFile called but cannot function without subscription." That would really save some headaches. Merci!
