Here we go again...
I have this CometAnywhere running 2008.398 as a service over a network.
The Path of the executables is \\pe2850\Comet.2008
I have this client (local machine) that can connect to the CometAnywhere - mainly to check if it is still up & running.
The shortcut is \\pe2850\comet.2010\Cosw.exe /NET:192.168.1.6
The version for the 2010 if 431.
When the Anywhere is executed from this client, CAUpdate in it's great creativity tries to override my Client's 2010.431 with the host's 2008.397.
What I do not understand, is why is it trying to use the folder \\pe2850\Comet.2011 ? See picture attached
My question remains... Can we disable the CAUpdate ?
So here we have, Comet 2008 trying to "downgrade" Comet 2010 using folder from Comet 2011......
I hate Mondays!
