Robert,

yes I talking about IBM AS400 machine, we did not try Mysql, for now ODBC making the job perfectly.

We must know if MySql can open a direct connection to update IBM AS400 file in live mode thrue an IB program.

We also exchange data beetween Comet and SQL server in live mode.

Couple year ago, we have start to exchange data thrue text file in batch mode, one of major projet is to convert all text file exchange with the OBDC faclilities, for now we have put on hold this projet. Now 50 % of exchange data are in libve mode the other is in batch mode.

Like I said before, because ODBC making the job perfectly, we did not think to change our process. We relly need to know if we will still be able to connect in libe mode IB program and IBM AS400 machine and SQL server DB.

in next few week, we would like to talk with you if possible.
