I am testing xap for release in Comet32. Testing using the current Comet16 programs is going extremely well. There is one change that I must document here.
In C16 persistence was maintained by copying common into files (in the cos\temp folder) a cookie recorded which file contained the common for a particular browser session. These cookies were "session cookies". They were deleted when the browser was closed.
In C32, common is stored in memory. A cookie is set to indicate which piece of memory contains the common for a particular user. These cookies are persistent and expire in 1 hour.
This will possibly result in some subtle differences when a web site switches to a Comet32 XAP host.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
