Noticed a problem in a customer's DocMgr. 5 files from early July had "error" in the status column. This was because the corresponding PDF files in their "SPL" directory are missing.
The program logic does the following ...
1) Builds the DocMgr name (program name + register number) and issues a (SpoolMessage=). Docmgr adds it's own tie breaker and date/time so the name can be simple.
2) YYMMDD and HHMMSS are added to the file name. The path to the forever archive and the file name are combined and a (Document=) is issued.
3) Using the above forever archive file name a (Launch=) is issued.
It appears that step #1 worked but the PDF never reached "SPL" or the forever archive. The user didn't reported any errors and I have no idea if the Launch worked. The user has to verify the totals on the report before proceeding with the update. She would have called (I hope).
Beside my MSGBOX pop up, I'm adding print of the error info to DocMgr.
Does (Document=) give errors?
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
