Actually, I had to selectively move code over to the new library ("NXT") since only some of it had to be re-compiled to get rid of IMAGE references. It would be nice if we could bury a "COPY" statement (QTILITY/COPY) in the IB source and to it that way... as it is, I had to use a DOS BAT file to do the actual COPY, and then a dummy CREATE to get the entry into QDIR.

thanks for the "heads up" on the code in the library.... I'm forging along, and hope to get everything organised... the biggest thing is making everything IB compiled, free of the offending IMAGE references, so I can see what's the source by looking in DIRCAT. Then, I'll strip away all the vestigial (there's a word you don't get to say everyday in mixed company) code and sources so that we only have the code we're actually using in the operational libraries (I envision this as getting rid of everything with "OLD", "BAD", "TEST", "TST", "FIX" in its name)

P.S. my process is an example of the old joke about the guy who buys the chain saw
comes back to Home Depot a week later and says:
"it's just not making my job any easier"
so the salesman says:
"we've got a wood pile out back... let's try it out"
so they go out back and the salesman grabs the lanyard and pulls.... at which point the guy says:
HEY! WHAT's THAT NOISE?
:)
