pdfFactory somehow picked up margins (1/4"). Maybe from my default HP4+ printer. PDF's viewed in Adobe Reader looked exactly like they did on paper. But, when Adobe Reader printed, it squeezed the PDF down a bit to fit the printable area of the printer. Net result is the left margin was 1/2". Just wide enough for 3-hole punching to not wipe out too much data. It was a "feature" I liked.
Comet PDF (BullZip) uses a different method. Their web site has instructions but they don't match Windows 7. See JPG's.
1) create a clone of the "Letter" form in Print Server Properites and add the margins.
2) change Comet PDF from "Letter" to "Letter with margins"
This method works great but requires additional install work at every user. Not sure it's worth the trouble.
Lastly, on the second screen "BullZip" is displayed. Should we give them any credit? :) And, they're inconsistent in the spelling of color :)
