Having situation expanding current Comet file naming restriction of 8.3
stuff. It would be great if the QDIR key could be expanded. Why would it be so difficult to go 16.3? I expand keyed/index fields all the time as life changes. Bank gives you a LONG name for direct deposit. For me to make this work I had to discover and implement the short. So in the NEW world you still are linked/chained to 8.3? And also the black hats? To be specific a Comet object program called B-0904321.OBJ would be supported.
