John,

CometAnywhere is simple to install and simple to run. The host can be any full Comet configuration with CometAnywhere sessions configured.

[CONSOLE SESSION OPTIONS]
Session = T00, P00, 5, F0,80,FF,F0,B0;
Session = T01, P01, 3, F0,80,FF,F0,B0;

The above would configure T00 as a normal Comet foreground session (at least one of these is needed), and T01 as a CometAnywhere session.

Any of today's computers can handle many CA sessions without performance issues. The main bottleneck will be the network speed.

Our latest thinking about CA session installs is to install a full Comet release and set up the shortcut with a /net: clause instead of a /PN= clause.

CA works with TCP/IP port 11751, so your firewall should allow that port to get through to the Comet Host.

We can help you do all of this. If you want a demo certificate with a couple of CA sessions included to test, let us know.
