There isn't a Server 2011. Small Biz Server 2011 uses Server 2008 R2. Don't recommend Home Server 2011.

Next MS Server will be Server 2012 (aka Server 8).

Comet is OK with Server 2008. It is a 64bit OS. Comet running on the server for the hosting of XAP and CometAnywhere will have to run Comet32.
