To get Comet PDF to work like pdfFactory and avoid some messy program changes, I've decided that adding a "Letter with margins" form for each user will be mandatory. Going without the margins can result in thin slices of the top of left margins being trimmed off. And other anomalies in the print out. WYSIWYG, where for art thou!
It's all an unpleasant mix of Comet PDF and Adobe Reader settings. If I can control the Comet PDF settings and advise users on the Adobe setting, it should work out OK
The attached is a water billing form from a PDF archive that is usually viewed and maybe printed to plain paper. But, if the user wants to print on a bill form (has boilerplate and a performation for the return stub) they have to set Adobe "Page Scaling" to "None". For reports, "Shrink to Printable Area" works best as it gives extra left marin space for 3-hole punching.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
