A breakdown of the methodology.
I have a working directory 'D00' on the server as below. This is in the .INI file.
\\AD-COMET\COMET\DOCMGR\D00\; All purpose directory for CopyFile pdf/html/text/DocMgr
There is a subroutine to copy the printer output to this directory from the user profile folder.
The path is established from a read of the command (#) buffer.
On completion of the relevant report the output file is DOS erased from 'D00'.

There is also an archiving system for audit reports (journals, registers etc.)
These are stored as per below. The 2012 folder varies as the financial year ending (2007,2007,2012 etc.)
I determine which folder is written to depending on the date of the relevant document.
These folders are not included in the .INI file.
I ACCESS them and determine a DAB using ACCESS (XX) "DA1", DIR="\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DA1"

\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DA1\; Document Manager Archive - IAJ
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DA2\; Document Manager Archive - INSR
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DA3\; Document Manager Archive - KRJ
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DA4\; Document Manager Archive - RAJ
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DA5\; Document Manager Archive - RCJ
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DA6\; Document Manager Archive - RCRJ 166 = C ,\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\DA6\; Document Manager Archive - RCRJ
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DA7\; Document Manager Archive - RIR
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DA8\; Document Manager Archive - RSR
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DA9\; Document Manager Archive - RTB
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAA\; Document Manager Archive - BAL
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAB\; Document Manager Archive - BCL
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAC\; Document Manager Archive - BRP
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAD\; Document Manager Archive - FAJ
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAE\; Document Manager Archive - FCJ
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAF\; Document Manager Archive - FDJ
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAG\; Document Manager Archive - GFR
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAH\; Document Manager Archive - GIL
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAI\; Document Manager Archive - GJL
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAJ\; Document Manager Archive - GSL
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAK\; Document Manager Archive - GTB
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAL\; Document Manager Archive - NIR
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAM\; Document Manager Archive - NCR
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAN\; Document Manager Archive - NQR
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAO\; Document Manager Archive - NTB
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAP\; Document Manager Archive - NPJ
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAQ\; Document Manager Archive - PP
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAR\; Document Manager Archive - PWG
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAS\; Document Manager Archive - PWGM
\\AD-COMET\COMET\ARCHIVE\2012\DAT\; Document Manager Archive - XPR

The same routine applies. The document is copied to 'D00' but is also written to the archive directory.
I then prompt the operator to SAVE? (Y/N).
If 'Y', I leave the document in the archive and delete from 'D00'.
If 'N', I delete the document from the archive, delete the DOCMGR index and delete from 'D00'.

All works fine except for this one report (NTB-A/P Trial Balance) in CometPDF which is 7,477KB.
If I run the report for a range of vendors so it not so large it is fine.

Have attached CFAM and Comet logs.

The CFAM log shows accessing 'DA1'. The first is an archive of IAJ.
The second is a DocMgr lookup on IAJ.

Hope this is not too confusing.
Thanks for your help.
Merry Christmas to all at Signature.
